Cats have always been a source of fascination for mankind dating as far back as 2000 B.C. The ancient Egyptians first domesticated them and it’s said they even imposed the death penalty on anyone killing one! No fear of that fate besetting the owner of these ‘Cool Cats’ however as they are made from beautifully crafted, scroll-cut iron. Despite their musical instruments, they remain totally silent and require no feeding or exercise. An added benefit is a tea light holder [tea light not included] on the base of each one which, when lit, creates a patchwork of shadows to further enhance their appeal. With heights ranging from 39 cms to 26 cms, each piece is decorated using a variety of matt varnishes and is rounded off with a felt-lined base.
